Beginner FAQs
Is hot yoga safe for beginners?
Yes. Our classes are designed to welcome all levels, including complete beginners. The heat helps your body open up gradually — and our instructors offer modifications so you can always work at your own pace.
Do I need to be flexible?
You don't need to be flexible — you need to be willing to come apart a little. To be present. To begin. The students who thrive here are the ones who show up exactly as they are and say yes. You are ready now.
What should I bring to my first class?
A yoga mat (rentals available if you need one), a water bottle, a towel, and moisture-wicking workout clothes. Arrive 10 minutes early and introduce yourself to your instructor.
How much does a beginner yoga class cost in North Buffalo?
Your first class is just $10. We also offer a two-week unlimited intro pass for $30 — a great way to try different class times and instructors and find your rhythm.
What's the difference between hot yoga and power yoga?
Hot yoga refers to practicing in a heated room (we use radiant heat panels for even, comfortable warmth). Power yoga is a dynamic, flowing style inspired by the Baptiste tradition — athletic but accessible. At Reach, every class is both.
Where is Reach Power Yoga located?
We're at 1510 Hertel Avenue in North Buffalo — just minutes from North Buffalo and the Northtowns.
